Luke Lkhaasuren

AGAA “LUKE” LKHAASUREN has been a founder and the managing partner at Agaa and Partners Advocates since 2014 and Logos Advocates since 2008. Logos Advocates LLC ceased to operate under its form of LLC as was required by Law of Mongolia on Legal Status of Lawyers and transformed into a Limited Liability Partnership.

In the past he worked in both in public and private organizations as an aide to the MP, a coordinator for legal training, a lecturer at National University of Mongolia Law School, senior lawyer at private enterprises to sole partner and consultant for his law office.

Luke holds vast experience and insight in representing foreign companies and individuals in Mongolia including legal guidance for his foreign and Mongolian clients mainly in connection with mining and geology related businesses, representing them before court of justice and administrative departments, writing legal opinions, and negotiations with Mongolian partners and various Mongolian departments relevant to businesses and tax authorities.

Currently, his duties include leading the law firm, meeting the new clients, provide presentations; writing contracts, both in English and Mongolian, reviewing and developing various legal documents; providing legal opinions; representing clients before counter-party, courts and arbitration panels, attending business meetings of clients as ex officio, negotiating and settling disputes; guiding junior lawyers for various tasks by clients, including drafting agreements, representing before courts and various instances of government agencies and officials; working with Members of Parliament in policymaking and etc.
