According to the Constitution of Mongolia and Land Law, that stipulate “Only citizens of Mongolia may own a plot of land except the for pastureland and land for common tenure”, a citizen of Mongolia has the right to own land.

What are forms and purpose to own land?

Only citizens of Mongolia may own a plot of land except the for pastureland and land for common tenure

In case of granting land for the household needs, an application for the ownership should involve the land that is free of the right of other persons to own or possess or dispose that land provided that the said land is covered in the general land management plan of the aimag and capital city, general and fractional development plan of the aimag and city, annual land management plan , of the soum and district.

Size of land for household needs:

• In capital city—0,07 hectares
• In the center of aimag — 0,35 hectares
• In the center of soum, village — 0,5 hectares

2. For economic entities and agriculture purposes

• Purchasing by priority right

/Provided that the land, which is granted for the construction of buildings at own expenses, or privatized land as well as transferred to the ownership on contractual basis by the decision of the respective authority in compliance with the rules specified in the Civil Code and Law on State and local government l property, is included into the land for; possession/ownership by the citizens in the general land management plan of the aimag and capital city, general and I fractional development plan of the aimag and city, annual land management plan of the soum and district./

• Purchasing on auction

/Provided that the land for the purposes to construct new buildings at : own expenses, privatize in compliance with the rules specified in the law, and transfer to the possession/ownership pursuant to the rules set forth in the Civil Code and Law on State and local government property is included into the land for ownership by the citizens in the general land management plan of the aimag and capital city, general and fractional development plan of the aimag and city, annual land management plan of the soum and district./

Size of the land for possession for agricultural purposes:

• In case of possession in compliance with the land possession agreement - by the size of the land under possession
• In case of purchasing on auction — by the size of the land offered at the that auction.

The safe use of products hazardous for human life, health or environment shall be guaranteed as follows. The requirements for products are established by the State standards and the competent authority shall register such products into the State registry and issue licenses for their manufacturing. The manufacturers and executors must comply with the State standards and norms. It is prohibited to produce, sell or import the above-mentioned products without quality certificates.

The standardisation centre and other certification bodies authorised by the standardisation centre issue quality certificates for products. The manufacturers and sellers shall clearly identify the products hazardous to human life, health or environment by putting commonly used international signs and writings on their containers, packages, coverings and labels. The manufacturers are obligated to include the requirements for storage, transportation, use or consumption of products hazardous to human life, health or environment or perishable products into their operating instructions, use instructions or other relevant documents. If the validity of a product hazardous to human life, health or environment has been expired, it is prohibited to sell or trade that product in any way.
